Book Report: “Perform” puts me to sleep.
That’s good news because I go to sleep reading “Perform.” I’m really enjoying it! It’ll take a while, but I’m sleeping well and am very happy. I’ve already concluded I need to reread it and take written notes. For now I’m just enjoying it, and yes, falling asleep.I've just started your book. Wonderful. As an aside, the book itself is an incredible work of art, but what you write inside is invaluable. There isn't a single working magician that won't be better off learning from your vast experience layed out in these pages.

However, this routine has normally been done with one person on stage. Even when there were two people on stage, it was normally a husband and wife.
Tim wanted to create an engaging routine for FAMILY audiences, using a mom and child.
After writing a basic routine with his pal Scott Humston, Tim put it in his family night show. Night after night he worked on this routine as it evolved over the next year. When David Kaye came to his show, they talked at length about it and tweaked it even more. Over the next year, it became what it is now.
This is currently one of Tim's favorite routines to PERFORM, and it's a fooler both kids and adults.

Most of you know me as a close up guy -- IBM & SAM close up contest Kansas City & Las Vegas ("The guy with the globe")I also perform quite a bit of stand up, and this routine is a solid part of my show. Tim's music is brilliant. Personally I think it's better for adults and mixed crowds. It is well worth the time spent to learn ( which actually isn't too hard) I recommend it highly. This adds some extra texture to your act and brings mixed emotions to the audiences. I have had people cry, laugh and some just sit in amazement at the ability to memorize and reverse the words. I love it.

Tim's Rindercella product is very nicely produced and well worth the asking price. Sure, you could just read some spoonerisms...but having the custom sound effects for the story takes it to a whole new level!
I could see this being a nice addition to any family show. Actually, the last time I was at The Magic Castle...the performer in the parlor room used Tim's version of this in his show. I watched him all week...it got really great reactions every time. If it's good enough for The Castle...
